How to use this resource
Each month we will prepare and publish some tunes for those wishing to polish their chops before the session. The first hour of each session will focus on these tunes at a leisurely pace for developing musicians before the pace quickens.
There are many different versions of tunes that are played in a session. The ones we use may be different to the ones you are familiar with. Use the sheet music or the audio file or both (depending on how you learn) to become familiar with the key signature and form of the tune. The desired end is to be able to recognise the tune and play along from memory using your ears during the session to listen to the more experienced players and fill in the blanks a little each time you play the tune. Don’t be too concerned if you can’t play all of the notes right away.

No slow session this month as most of us will be down at Woodstock playing at a Bush Dance with Wattle n Gum until 4pm. We’ll be back for the session at 5pm though. See you then.
